1. Controller

2. What we collect

There are two categories of data, and nothing else.

Information you send through the contact form. Your name, your email address, your company or organisation if you choose to give it, the reason for contact you select, and the text of your message.

Technical information recorded by the web server. Your IP address, the user agent string your browser sends, the path you requested and the time of the request. These entries exist to keep the site secure and to enforce rate limits on the contact form. They are deleted after 14 days.

We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or third-party scripts, and we do not obtain personal data about you from any other source.

3. Why, and on what legal basis

The information from the contact form is processed for one purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to it.

Where your message concerns a possible business relationship, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. In all other cases the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in conducting ordinary business correspondence. Server log entries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) as well, for the security and availability of the website.

The checkbox on the form records your agreement to be contacted at the address you supply. You can withdraw that agreement at any time by writing to legal@n4220.ventures.

4. Retention

Messages sent through the form arrive in a mailbox and are kept there for up to 24 months, after which they are deleted.

The service that sends the message keeps no copy. The contents of your enquiry are not written to any database, and not written to any log file on our servers. Server log entries are rotated and deleted after 14 days.

5. Recipients

Two service providers are involved, each acting as a processor on our instructions:

• Google LLC (United States) — carries the email that the contact form generates and provides the mailbox that receives it.
• Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) — hosts the server that serves this website, in a data centre in Helsinki, Finland.

No one else receives your data. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing purposes.

6. International transfers

Google LLC is located in the United States. Personal data transferred to it is transferred on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, as incorporated into our agreement with that provider. Website hosting takes place inside the European Economic Area.

7. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in applicable data protection law, you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict how it is processed, to receive it in a portable form, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent you have given.

Send any request to legal@n4220.ventures. We answer within 30 days. If you believe we have handled your data incorrectly you may also lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country of residence.

8. No automated decision-making

We do not profile you, we take no automated decisions about you, and none of the data described here is used for advertising.

9. Cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no local storage. The details are in our Cookie Policy.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page and the date at the top is updated. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
